the story of the last week has been one of a worm turning and a society as one standing up to express that which has long inhabited hearts but, for reasons of fear and intimidation, has been absent from voices and actions:

many of the more allegedly intellectually inclined among the cancel culture leftists who were so long in power are taking issue with this and proclaiming things like “oh, so now you guys like cancel culture! hypocrites! liars!”

this is a midwit conceit and easily disassembled in straightforward fashion.

both free speech and free association must be absolute.

calling for the death of people for their peaceful views is the ultimate expression of cancel culture.

it’s a 100% perfect marker for “i have stepped into the arena unprotected and unbound.”

once you see this framing, all these arguments fall apart.

the right to self-defense is fundamental and retaliation is not the same as initiating aggression. they are fundamentally different acts.

“hate speech” is a favor. let the odious actors identify themselves that we may avoid them.

But never mind all the hypocrisy. The point is, we are at the point where Democrats are proposing new laws protecting First Amendment rights and letting citizens sue federal officials who censor them. And, mark my words, rank-and-file Democrats will line up behind this free-speech effort since it’s aimed at Trump.

All it took was for them to believe that conservatives were willing to play the same games they’ve been playing. That, and one suspended late-night host (who is mid at best), plus a non-apologetic Trump threatening even more.

It has been one week since American Patriot and hero, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated during a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University.

While millions of Americans mourned his death, the Left decided to CELEBRATE and MOCK the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

This woman is Dunja Hayali. She is known to millions of Germans as the anchor for the ZDF public news programme heute (“today”). The day after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Hayali glossed the story by conceding that “there is no justification for those groups celebrating [Kirk’s] death,” before deploring without any specific reference or citation “his often abhorrent, racist, sexist and misanthropic statements.” She proceeded to call Kirk a “radical religious conspiracy theorist” who nevertheless “struck a chord with many people,” given his large following and his “well-attended” events.
