I hate putting a speech up by Biden, but I’ve never in my lifetime heard a president (a fake one at that) speak this way about a large segment of the population (MAGA Republicans).
It should go down in history as one of the worst speeches any president has ever given. I think they’re losing badly and they know it. They are cornered and cornered beasts lash out and are not rational. I like what el gato malo wrote(opens new window) about the speech:

we must focus on our flourishing and not upon those who bait us.
