California SB-866 Minors: Vaccine Consent

They caved! They’ll have to try it another time.

Here’s the section we all need to be concerned about (they changed the age from 12 to 15):

(a) A minor 12 15 years of age or older may consent to a vaccine that is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration and meets the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (ACIP) without the consent of the parent or guardian of the minor.[emphasis mine]

UPDATE JUNE 17, 2022. This is still bullshit and typical strategy of the left. “We’ll compromise and raise the age to 15.” But the issue still stands: a minor is able to make this decision without the knowledge or consent of their parents. The state still wants to have the last say with your children. Don’t worry it’ll be 12 down the road, then 9 then….
