This was the vision of the world that Mahmood Mamdani imparted to his son: one in which the United States, in which they lived and prospered, was a colonialist, imperialist power bent on appropriating the resources of third world countries and using them for its own purposes.1
— Robert Spencer
Intifada on the Hudson: The Selling of Zohran Mamdani by Robert Spencer briefly goes through the life of Zohran Mamdani, the shiny, new, lefty, immigrant, non-white, Muslim mayor of New York. His roots, which Mamdani tries to downplay, from a privileged family (a professor for a father and a successful film director for a mother), the billionaires and millionaires backing him (Soros among others) and his expensive marriage celebration in Dubai, don’t reflect his Socialist, Marxist, Communist plans for the Big Apple, much like Bernie Sanders, another struggling Socialist, owning three homes.
I don’t begrudge anyone owning several homes, except when owning those homes exposes their hypocrisy, something we see all too often with Lefty leaders who call for the downtrodden of the world to unite against rich, colonial, racist, Islamophobic conservatives who will surely take away their phones and Netflix subscriptions.
Mamdani, like AOC, was not some grass roots candidate who pushed up through the soil, discovered by some poor farmers who decided to nurture him into an electable candidate. The farmers were rich, they weren’t farmers and, presto, Mamdani was the next glittering, cliche-speaking, immigrant candidate executing an obvious plan to destroy America and the West.
Here are some quotes from the anointed one:
Together, we can tax the rich, heal the sick, house the poor & build a socialist New York.2
What happens when the rich leave? Probably doesn’t matter. To maintain an Islamic, military outpost in New York, I bet Saudi Arabia will be willing to foot the bill.
I sincerely believe in this political project. I sincerely believe in socialism…. It can be such a lonely experience to be a socialist, and it was for me.3
Says the man who has only experienced socialism at the top. The bottom is far different. But at least he’s sincere because sincerity proves your beliefs will work especially if your sincerity is reported by the Mainstream Media with the right number of minorities and immigrants standing behind the speaker. This man, who did his swearing in on the Koran, knows exactly what he’s doing and the Mainstream Media happily helps him.
I am Donald Trump’s worst nightmare, as a progressive Muslim immigrant who actually fights for the things that I believe in.4
There’s not a lot of substance to Mamdani, but there is a lot of Leftist / Islamic cliches and claims of being a victim. Hey, if you’re a Muslim, playing the victim is far easier than trying to explain your policies and beliefs. For example, it’s far easier to say, “You’re an Islamophobe,” than trying to explain Muhammad’s many wives and concubines or his participation in beheadings and assassinations. Those are not truths Muslims feel inclined to admit to those they’re trying to conquer.
And part of this is the very sad burden of what it means to be the first Muslim candidate to run for mayor, is to deal with dehumanizing language.5
You mean like Muslims calling unbelievers “infidels”? Is that the dehumanizing language you’re worried about? Or did you mean when Muslims running rape gangs called young white girls “white slags,” “white trash,” or “kuffar bitches”? I wonder will “Trump’s worst nightmare” ever address 14 centuries of Muslim atrocities? Let’s listen in:
Death threats. Islamophobic bigotry. Now a sitting Council member calling for my deportation.6
For a Muslim “Islamophobic bigotry” is anyone who brings up facts about Islam that Muslims would rather not have to defend—of course they can always lie (sanctioned in Islam), which they often do.
Mamdani himself remarked that calls for his denaturalization were “a glimpse into what life is like for many Muslim New Yorkers and many New Yorkers of different faiths who are constantly being told they don’t belong in this city and this country that they love.”7
A Muslim who follows the example of Muhammad does not belong in America. A Muslim who believes that Sharia Law should be the law of the land does not belong in America. A Muslim who believes Muhammad’s life should be emulated does not belong in America. A Muslim who believes that a Muslim who leaves Islam (an apostate) should be killed does not belong in America.

Spencer chronicles Mamdani’s public persona in good detail and with lots valid criticisms about Islam and Socialism.
Islam is not the name of a ‘Religion,’ nor is ‘Muslim’ the title of a ‘Nation.’ In reality Islam is a revolutionary ideology and programme which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuild it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals.8
Both communism and Islam envision the violent destruction of other systems and opposing forces, followed by the imposition of a reign of terror.9
During Mamdani’s bid to become mayor of New York he had this to say about his opponent, Andrew Cuomo:
“We’re speaking about a former governor who, in his final moments in public life, is engaging in rhetoric that is not only Islamophobic, not only racist, it’s also disgusting,” Mamdani told reporters Thursday. “Andrew Cuomo’s message is to smear and slander the first Muslim candidate on the verge of leading this city where 1 in 8 New Yorkers are Muslim and say that by virtue of your faith you are worthy of suspicion.”10
He sure got the buzzwords in there: “racist” and “Islmophobic.” Then he plays the victim (Wait. Again?) and then he says this hoping that everyone will agree how terrible it is:
“…that by virtue of your faith you are worthy of suspicion.”
That, however, is the truth, one the West had better learn soon. If you are Muslim, even a good Muslim by Western standards, because of your belief in Islam and Muhammad you ARE worthy of suspicion. Centuries of Jihad make you worthy of suspicion. Thousands of terrorists attacks since 911 make you worthy of suspicion. Muslim rape gangs around the world make you worthy of suspicion. The murder of Muslim apostates make you worthy of suspicion. The murder of French cartoonists make you worthy of suspicion. Muslim majority countries make you worthy of suspicion. Not assimilating into the countries you expect to accommodate you make you worthy of suspicion. Honor killings make you worthy of suspicion. Sharia Law makes you worthy of suspicion.
You, Muslim, are worthy of suspicion by “virtue of your faith.” It’s a hard truth, but it’s a truth nonetheless.
As a Christian I would rather live in a neighborhood of atheists than in a neighborhood of Muslims. No question. No contest. No debate needed. Give me the atheists every—single—time.
If you’re a decent Muslim and don’t want to be worthy of suspicion…then leave Islam. Leave! Just freaking leave. You deserve better.
Muslims are the first victims of Islam. Many times I have observed in my travels in the Orient, that fanaticism comes from a small number of dangerous men who maintain the others in the practice of religion by terror. To liberate the Muslim from his religion is the best service that one can render him.11

Spencer ends his book with this:
Americans who genuinely love the freedom that life in this country affords must mobilize to defeat the Soros machine’s future socialist candidates, and to turn back the scourge of this movement decisively. Our future quite literally depends on it.12
