This is another victory for freedom lovers. The bill, put forth by Senator Richard Pan, would have disallowed a personal belief exemption and mandated the vaccine for all students K-12. Pan called the bill the “Keep Schools Open and Safe Act.”
Seriously? These politicians come up with not only the stupidest names for bills but also ones full of propaganda and doublespeak. Schools were closed because of these very same politicians. They could have been open and safe the whole time. K-12 students are not at risk. Follow the science, not the propaganda!
Pan’s reason for pulling the bill as reported in Newsweek(opens new window)?
So essentially, before we can pass a bill like this we need to make sure every student in California has access to the vaccine, then we can line them all up and inject them with an experimental vaccine they don’t need.“Until children’s access to COVID vaccination is greatly improved, I believe that a state-wide policy to require COVID vaccination in schools is not the immediate priority, although it is an appropriate safety policy for many school districts in communities with good vaccine access,” said Pan in a statement on Thursday.
Senator Pan’s name is on many of these draconian California bills.
We still need to stop the others.
