The most basic condition for science to operate is not only the ability to publish the truth, but, as Karl Popper rightly noted, also to publicly falsify a scientific theory. Falsification is a form of dissent. It cannot be achieved under a state of emergency if the theory is also public policy. Emergencies require action, and public consent. Mandates are the direct result of governments with emergency powers, and extended mandates directly result from governments that like their powers a bit too much.

I’m glad mask mandates are going away. I’ve seen some of the videos of airline passengers cheering upon hearing the news. I have no problem with that. But I have my suspicions about the timing.
California AB 2098
While mask mandates have been disappearing California’s legislature just yesterday voted (12-5) to keep AB 2098 moving through the system. This is a terrible, draconian bill that would punish medical doctors for “misinformation.” We all know who will define that and what it will be. So if you’re a doctor who thinks prescribing Ivermectin to a person in the early stages of Covid is the best way to proceed, you may be fined, punished or lose your license if you suggest that. I assume this will also apply if you do not inform a patient that their best line of defense is to get vaccinated with an experimental drug and no doubt telling a patient they should not get vaccinated or that the problems they are having is because of being vaccinated, will also be considered professional misconduct.
This bill is moving forward. Not having to wear a mask will mean very little if something like this gets passed. California has a number of bills that are alarming that are still moving through the system.
The WHO Treaty
The World Health Organization (WHO) wants to control your life. Yeah, so what else is new, right? If countries enter into this new treaty being proposed by the WHO they will give up their autonomy when it comes to dealing with a “pandemic.” So if the WHO deems it necessary that everyone must get vaccinated to save the world, countries that adopted the treaty will have to comply. This is all for our own good, of course. The treaty, they say, will allow the kind of quick, unified response necessary to deal with a future outbreak that most assuredly is coming. Not to mention, though I will, that big pharma will make shitloads of money if and when the WHO decides the entire world needs to be vaccinated, a stated goal, by the way, of U.S. Government in its National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.
Sure glad they’re dropping those mask mandates.
Rhode Island Wants the Prize
So Rhode Island wants to punish parents who do not get their children vaccinated. You read that right. The education you received is working. Bill SB2552 proposes a number of things. First, everyone over 16 will be required to be vaccinated. That right there is bad enough as it is, but it gets worse.
Kids under 16 are required to be vaccinated and as parents you are required to make sure that happens. If your kids are not vaccinated you’ll need to pay $50.00 dollars a month. That however, is not the worst of it. 50 a month, I wouldn’t like that, but it would be worth it to keep your kids vaccine free. The other part of the plan is to double your income tax. Again, you read that right. It’s not a typo on my part. If you doubt me (and you should never doubt The Inmate), you can read the entire bill PDF, opens new window and for your convenience, because I’m a nice guy, I’ve included that section below:
(e) Any person who violates this chapter shall be required to pay a monthly civil penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00) and shall owe twice the amount of personal income taxes as would otherwise be assessed pursuant to chapter 30 of title 44. All employers must require proof of compliance with this chapter for any employee employed in in-person work within the State of Rhode Island. Employers may choose to waive proof of compliance with this chapter for purely remote work. Any employer found to be knowingly in violation of this section for more than seven (7) days shall be required to pay a monthly civil penalty of five thousand dollars ($5,000) for every violation.
I forgot to add, as you’ve no doubt read, employers can face fines of $5,000 for every violation. It appears the violation would include not only making sure your employees are vaccinated, but also making sure your employee’s children are vaccinated.
But hey, thank God the mask mandates are being dropped!
The person behind this bill is Rhode Island senator Samuel (The Communist) W. Bell(opens new window). Here’s his short bio:
Sam Bell (D-Dist. 5, Providence) was born on July 7, 1989. He is married to Samantha Weiser.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Astronomy and Geology from Amherst College; a Master’s Degree in Geosciences from Brown University; and a Ph.D. in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Science from Brown University.
He was first elected to the Rhode Island Senate on November 4, 2018.
That kind of explains why he is in politics: those degrees have little relevance in the real world. I wrote Sam. Yes, I’m an idiot. I realize it will probably do no good, but sometimes I just can’t help myself. It’s a problem. Here’s my email:
Sam,
SB 2552 is a terrible, draconian example of the most egregious overreach by any state thus far. I thought California had won that prize.
Thankfully, many citizens are now being trained to file both civil and criminal charges against politicians, school board members and others who do not do their due diligence in researching these current experimental vaccines and who may be responsible for requiring, by law, vaccines known to cause many adverse side effects including death. More and more information in this regard is being revealed (the recent Pfizer document dump has been extremely revealing). I advise you to look into it. Do some real research.
Please withdraw the bill immediately.
